My Porsche book is a real thing!!

Hi guys,

I'm very proud to share with all of you, one of the most important things in my life:

My book about Porsche 911 2.8 RS was launched last 3th October !!!

I decided to write a book when one of my best friends began to work in a restoration project.
He wanted to restore/modify a 1978 911 SC into a 911 Carrera 2.8 RS.
He is one of the best experts in Europe in Porsche , but he didn't want to produce a clone or replica.
His purpose was a daily car, sporty, RSR look and reliable. He introduced several custom solutions in the general aspect of the car.
Was made in Germany and the result was amazing.

I tried to compile data to create a personal dossier, but with the times goes by, I bet to write my first Porsche book. As I'm one of three owners and administrators of the best Porsche forum in the Internet in Spanish language ( Foro SoloPorsche.com - Powered by vBulletin ) We celebrate a meeting to launch the book.

More than 80 Porsche cars made a fantastic route from Madrid to Jarandilla de la Vera (Extremadura, Caceres). The event was a wonderful party day for me.
A lot of friends come from a far distance to be with me in a so special day.

The name of the book is:

"Soñando con un 911 RSR"

It took me more than 20 months. I wrote about my way to understand a Porsche 911, as I called it "the concept 911", Porsche history, Motorsport, the 911 Carrera RS 2.7, production, the 491 option (2.8 RSR), a lot of information about this racing series, the famous 1973 Targa Florio, my friends project, a personal interview, the restoration develop, details, more than 180 spectacular images, and a final chapter when I look for a personal dream in the readers, trying to make them feel when driving a RSR.
3 fantastic photographers made a beautiful report of the car.

I had to print it by myself and invest a lot of money to produce the book in the best printing qualities.
I ordered 500 units in a one and only limited edition (in Spanish)

All the books are being signed with a personal dedicatory to the reader.

I'm sort of the reverse Walter Mitty in that I think it would be fun to write anything. Perhaps an industry insider tell-all when I'm retired.
