69 2.0 engine electronics
 

Hey can someone tell me what the gold colored box on the driver side of the engine bay is. It is about 6 inch tall 3 inch deep and wide. And has cooling fins on it. Looks like a similar to a small modern electronic ignition control box. Also there is a red button on top, what is it for.

Its a Delta Mk 10 . A very common aftermarket electronic ignition from back in the day. If I remember, the red button is to bypass it in case it stops working, or for testing.

Thanks when you press the switch it cycles up and down. Do you know which position is bypass and which is on.
