Removing stainless trim from top of doors?
Restoring 73 911 and trying to access bolts that secure trim to top of doors. Either I'm blind or some other means used. Thanks.

Held on with plastic clips. Pelican sells metal replacement clips.
Door Moulding Clip (Upper Door Edge) Part Number: 999-591-326-01-M100

Top part of inside trim is screwed in, one at front and one at rear. The rear has a small plug over it.
Then unscrew door lock button and it should slide up and off.

If you mean the window frame you need to unbolt the whole frame from the door.
Remove inside trim to access bolts inside the door and there are additional allen head bolts under rubber plugs in the edge of the door. Thats anodized aluminum not stainless. Post some pictures.

Just the syrup along the top of the door (not window).

Exterior trim pieces. Look stainless, but are anodized aluminum.
