2.7 Dim. Please
Could one of you fine Gentlemen that has a 2.7 engine, please give me a rough measurement(+-.125ish) from the fan centerline to the crank pulley centerline in both top to bottom(Z) and left to right(X).Iv'e aquired a fan shroud(Thanks Tim)and I'm doing a little homework on retrofitting on(don't laugh http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/biggrin.gif)some of the cooling parts to a T4 engine.Thank you very much! http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/wat3.gif

Hello
The simplest would be to buy the needed parts. You can´t use the Porsche 911 messurements as you have to use a lternatorstand on the vent tower or machine that tower flat. So the best is to start if you have the parts on hand and know witch way to go. And the best is to keep the fatory cooling system as it will provide better cooling then the "shock" cooling methode. Those 911 fans where only used as the had no place for the stock unit in the bugs. BTW I guess 180 mm. Grüsse |
