Question Identify 1974 Front seats?

Hi guys,

I took the front seats off my 02/1974 (VIN: 911411xxxx) out of storage this weekend, put them next to each other and realized they are somewhat different.

Can someone help me identify them?

They both have the same chrome hinge with a brownish lever

bump? anyone?

The one with the "fat" headrest seems an original comfort(?) seat matching the year of the car. The other one seems to have the back of a new type? Is it even possible to interchange the backs ?

Don't know if it's worth to mention, but it's a targa.

Thanks!

Sorry but neither of those are OEM 911 seats.

I have to agree with Peter, neither of those look anything like the original seats in my 74 911.

Ditto - They are not original. they appear to have been recovered at some point.

Well, these were not the answers I hoped for, but my "problem" has been solved. My dad liked these for one of his projects so we traded seats. I've traded up to vintage Recaro LX seats.

WoW! Looks like you have a few more years before you'll grow into those seats!? ;-)
