Fifth Anual NY/NJ/CT/MA/PA/DE/MD/VT/NH Thanksgiving Weekend Rallye

Ladies and Gentlemen,

First off I must apologize for posting this so late in the season but here it is! Unfortunately all my cars are currently down for the count but my SC only need a CV boot so I'm hoping to have it back out in time for this, otherwise I hope someone will allow me to ride shotgun. For those of you that have come in the past you know the deal, and for those of you who are curious about attending you should find everything you need here. We have had such good success in the past I think we will just stick to the same route and points. Remember you are free and encouraged to come and go as you need to if you can only make it for a segment of the trip. As always I will update this thread with all the most recent info for the trip. Please feel free to pass this along to any non Pelican Porsche friends you may have. Co-pilots are always encouraged.

F.A.Q (questions I have gotten in the past and have answers to)
- This is a free event, there is no sign up, just show up
- This has always been a free event I have no intention of changing that.
- Traditionally this has been a Porsche Only Event.
- We are not responsible for what you do during the day. The law is the law, the Rally does not endorse speeding or reckless behavior, this is a fun event and there is no winner.
- All plans will be updated on this original post so please check back here for info
- You can spread the word to all Porsche owners you know including local PCA chapter, the more the merrier.
- This is not a PCA event and I would like to keep it that way, the PCA has many rules about their events, not all of which this conforms to.

Dang! My SC will most likely not be ready. I could sneak in a segment, driving my "other" German car, but do not want to break tradition. Either way, have a blast you all!

My 911 is down until the spring, but I have an M3. But seeing as this is Porsche only, I guess I'm out.

Safe Travels

My souvenir photos of last year's run. 3 weeks before I left East Coast. I will surely miss this year's run.

I'm in. Maybe we should use the original route from our first trips. I think it was a great route and much easier to follow. the last couple of years we have lost a lot of cars along the way

Mike,

Good Point, I have the maps from at least the past 2 years saved and ill try and combine them to make a possibly easier route. The main issue is finding a nice mix of twisty roads and easy routes.

Regards
Dave

Definitely in, happy to lead a group as well. Have used a few different free Walkie talkie apps on my iPhone for different drives that worked out very well.
