RS Carpet Kit- App Biz or Rennspeed

Looking for a grey charcoal perlon felt RS carpet kit for my 73 RSR car. Looking at App Biz and Rennspeed kits. Can anyone compare the two?

Having only dealt with App Biz, I can only recommend them. But if Rennspeed is cheaper....not Rocket Science, it's just carpet.

Be advised it is REAALLY thin, so a Coco Mat is a good idea for the driver if you plan on street use....

If I would have known how thin it was I would not have bought an RS carpet. At least not for the front as it does not seem to hold up well, and I hardly drive the car.

the 75S I purchased 6 months ago has a new RS carpet kit in it & I noticed the same thing. I think the key description in the OP is "felt". not claimed to be carpet is part of the problem.

I have only done business with APPBIZ of two you suggest and can not speak highly enough of their customer service. I had APPBIZ RS door panels that I installed with speaker holes and in such for a few years that I had to redo for a cage install. I recovered them to negate the speaker holes and remount the interior handles to accommodate the cage door bars. I called them looking for additional mounting hardware and they were all to happy to help with what I needed. then when it came time to pay the owner said "just let me send to ya". all the stuff I needed was shipped at no cost. he never knew whether id bought them used, they may have been another brand but they stepped up. this was 7-8 years ago & ive never forgotten that.

Yes Bob at App Biz is a stand up guy and I have had good luck with their stuff in the past. The Rennspeed kit looks really good in the pics and is a bit cheaper thus why I was considering it.

Bob at AppBiz is fantastic. I have his products in my SC and am very happy with it. He spent a couple hours touring me all around his facility, and answering all of my concerns. He is the man.

I've dealt with Bob at AppBizz a number of times over the years. GREAT guy and top shelf. I've never used the Rennspeed carpet kit so I can't speak to that. I have learned though that you usually get what you pay for.

if you intend to keep the car as close to the original set up of your model and year, you need to investigate what type of carpet was used, the colour and find the company that will furnish it and cut the sections to spec...

App biz is terrific.
Great product and better customer service.
I bought a kit and didn't install for over 6 months. The trans center piece got up and walked away like many of my socks that go to the washing machine.
I called to order and they offered a new piece just like that.

I have the rennspeed stuff. Fitment was good. It is pretty thin but the drivers side does have a vynil section where your feet goes, still probably a good idea to get a mat of some form for regular use.
