They are not in Clearwater, but I use Chilly Performance in Tampa for all my service needs. I learned about them when I needed a PPI, and haven't looked anywhere else. They are a family business with a heritage that goes back to the Dave White Racing days. Give them a call.

I've used both German Tech for my old '911 & Chilly Performance for my MR2 Turbo (because I had history with Dave White Racing when I still had a Pcar...They race both platforms and a Ligier).

I trust them both.

I have had quite a bit of work done by Chilly Performance on my 911sc, In my opinion they are very knowledgeable and fair.

What about Bert Smith Porsche? Do they know air cooled cars at all? Will they be able to do a compression and leakdown test?

Bert smith will only do an inspection like they would any used car. Not an actual ppi.

I've used Frank Eibell for over 40 years. Excellent and honest. I'd suggest you stay with him.
Another would be European Performance in downtown St. Pete if your looking for a second opinion
