Porsche USA License Plate
Hi Everyone I have been thinking of a way to show my patriotism and give support to the people affected by the tragic events of September 11, 2001 and I have made a license plate to do just that. I have included a link to the picture of this exact plate on my Boxster to show you what it looks like to anybody that is interested. You can view it here at http://www.3wheeler.org/uploads/porschefront.jpg . I can produce a nice set including the plate with either a black or chrome frame and a clear protective cover to go along with it. I can offer this set for $25 shipped anywhere in the continental US and $10 from the sale of each plate will go to benefit the American Red Cross. I can accept PayPal , Visa/MC, COD (extra charges apply), and check. If there is another make of car you would also be interested in I can produce such a plate so it has the appropriate symbol and logo. Please specify which you would like. Thank You.

it would be a noble effort if you just broke even instead of making a profit.

Thank you for your reply. The idea wasn't to make a profit if I was to make any at all. The remaining amount that is not donated goes to helping purchase more supplies so I can continue making these plates. If you have any other questions or comments please let me know. CEM |

of course the idea is to make a profit otherwise you wouldnt charge anything. I just love how all these organizations are cropping up promising to give the money raised to the needy families affected by this recent tragedy...only to raise cash for themselves. as fas as i'm concerned, these people are no better than the terrorists cause they take advantage of people's emotions and philonthropic intentions. |

Hi Everyone
I understand the skepticism but I do assure you having gone over the costs that there is no profit to be made from this. Remember that shipping is also included so there are no extra charges. This is a good way to compliment your car with a show of patriotism as well as giving monetary aid to a wonderful organization being the American Red Cross. There are no strings attached. And to answer a previous post I am very happy to say I do own that 1998 Porsche Boxster you see in the picture. I already had a test plate on the car from before and it was easier for me to just take a picture of the final plate version and paste it onto the car with photoshop just so you can see what the actual product looks like on an actual Porsche. Below is the original photo I took with my digital camera with the test plate I've had on for about a week just so you can see the difference. I did have to shrink the image just alittle bit to get the filesize under 50KB in order to insert it into my post. If there are any more comments or questions I'll be more than happy to respond to them. Thank You. CEM |

I am not an organization...I am only an individual. I am not out to make a profit contrary to what you may believe. However way you want me to prove that to you I will glady do that. But please do not make slandering accusations about me in which you have no rightful justification to do so. Thank You. CEM |

anyway, i dint realize you are a musician. I am a musician as well and currently working on my debut CD. I am listening to your music now as I write this and it's very unique. I like the dance/techno feel to "The Fury". I can really get into it. Is it difficult making money with your music and how is MP3 working out for you? I heard they take like 50% of your CD sales. Is this true? thanks. |

This stinks of opportunism of the worst kind! Shame on you.

Cabman, Thanks for taking the time to listen to my music! I really appreciate that. What kind of music do you do? Is it online to listen to? mp3.com does take its cut when you actually do sell a cd but i haven't seen anything from it..i don't think people would actually buy the cd when they can just download it and burn themselves...but it doesn't really matter as long as they enjoy what they hear =) CEM |
