Sloppy/mushy feeling in front suspension.

on my 83sc, in the past year i have updated to turbo tie rods, new Bilstien sport shocks, and new tires.

steering, however, feels a little sloppy/mushy at highway speeds and when cornering. what could it be? i've had the car aligned recently and still the same. thanks.

Some things to consider:

- wheel bearing tightness ?
- worn out spindle?
- lower ball joint?
- steering rack pinion pre-load?

Some possibilities ... in no particular order:

1. Front control arm bushings

2. Ball joints

3. Wheel bearing adjustment

4. Alignment and corner balance

What tires did you buy? And are they the same brand and model as the rears? Just curious.
