Yeah, like he said... we all know that real Porsches need a new engine every 12,000 miles. This must be better.

"The chassis is mostly custom built highly reinforced chassis in combo with GM chassis. The body is made of a combination of steel and fiberglass/carbon fiber. There are only 380 test miles on the car since built and the odometer reads only 43k miles. The engine is a strong running and reliable GM 6 cyl engine with only 43k mi. on it. For those who desire more power, a Corvette 8 cyl 350 engine could potentially be an option. Custom OZ designed wheels could be an option as well."

Sorry, but this is an abomination, and the builder should be shot for putting Porsche badges on the car. I'm surprised the badges didn't spontaneously combust after installation. They probably would have if this car had been built before gawd and Ferry rested in '74

Its kind of let down by the $h!+ speakers just behind the headrests. Still, it's better than I could make.

Actually I like it. If they lose the scooped sides it wouldn't look too bad. Oh yes lose the Porsche Emblems and put some Ford ones on cause it ain't a Porsche.

Thumbs down

Man, I am in the wrong business. I should be buying $1500 Fiero's, then intall $3000 body kits, and sell them on eBay for $30,000! I can NOT believe that the bids are up to $28K!!! What a P.O.S.

I am sure he is bidding against himself...with all of his ebay accounts he could make it look so real.

Before you dis kit cars...

Have you guys seen the 356 replicas in the latest 911 & Porsche World. Pretty nice, though I think they're a little more substantial than "kit cars." I checked the website www.pgo.fgr but it's in French and has no photos, goshdarnit!

Still in all, the gold faux GT car Zamirez posted is, put kindly, somewhat hideous.

Cool

Wait till the high bidder finds out he could have bought a real Porsche for the bucks he has down on this kit car.

Good luck,
David Duffield
