tensioner question

Is there an easy way to check if a chain tensioner upgrade has been done on my 1970 911 T ?

Well if you mean to oil fed, then yes, there will be an oil line entering each chain case cover. If you mean to the 930 style then the only way is to remove the covers and inspect.

Are you referring to the Carrera 3.2 oil fed chain tensioner upgrade? Post pictures of the engine particularly the chain covers. No need to open the engine. Visual check could confirm if you have it installed or not.

For this, yes. Check out if you have the oil lines described here:
Pelican Technical Article: 911 Carrera Chain Tensioner Upgrade

If so, then you had that update.
