How do I fix it?
Dear Friends
I have this 1986 911 coupe that was stored for years, now i would like to rebuilt the car but I notice that the front of the car where the front suspension is attached is completly rotted way mostly on the driver´s side, the metal is so corroded that the front of the A frame is not attached to the car, is just hanging in the air I heard that this must probrably was caused for the leaking of the battery´s acid over the years I wonder if this is possible to fix and what kind of metal sheets do i have to buy and where to get them? I looked over Pelican, but could not find the metal sheet for the front bottom part The car have A/C and i guess this front part have a big square hole Besides this part what other parts do i need? may be a battery tray? the A frames are bolted to this parts with out any metal reinforcment? Also does anybody know a good guy /shop to to this job in fort lauderdale area? You just now noticed this after you have owned it for years or you now see this after you recently purchased it? Just curious.
