1970 Barnfind 1970 911T Targa

I recently found a 1970 911T Targa in a friends driveway. It hasn't been driven or started in 18 years. Its a complete car, It was keep in garage until 2013 and then moved outside for room the last 3 years. The speedo shows 28123, I don't know if this means 28123 or 281230. Since the speedo is 5 digits. It's a beautiful car, just needs some TLC. The reason the lady quit driving it, was she couldn't get the drivers door open. Now I have the decision of selling or restoring or Getting it to run and just driving it.

Get it to run and drive it (which will be a partial restoration in itself) and then decide.
Read about a pre-purchase inspection and get that done, even tho' you already own it apparently, it will help you assess what a full restoration would be. Send us some pictures (engine/interior/underside). She looks marvelous in the garage shot. Send a pic after she's bathed too! I would love a find like that. The odometer could be reading 128123, but maybe you got lucky!! Welcome BTW!

It's possible it only has 28,123 miles on it, but also possibly 128,123 miles. They go to 99,999 then roll over to zeros again and the game begins anew.

The wear on the pedals should tell you if it has 100k plus on it vs 28k.
