Disabling fuel pump for compression test
My car is a '72 911T MFI. Wayne's book suggests removing the fuel pump relay before compression tests to keep from dumping excess fuel into the cylinders. I've been pouring over the literature I have available and I can't find any reference to a fuel pump relay for my model car. Can someone help me out?

Unplug the connector at the fuel pump. By left rear sway bar chassis bracket.

There is actually a two plug connector inside the engine compartment near the bottom of the fuel filter. Much easier that way.

Thanks rattlsnak. I would rather not have to raise the car to do this.
I've looked around the area under the fuel filter and this connector is not obvious to me. Do you have a photo of the area to show me where it is?

It can be right in the corner of the firewall to the left of the shock tower, get a torch and have a good look behind the fuel filter rather than directly under it.

Got it. It's got a brown wire and a red/green wire into a white connector.
Thanks!
