Orange 73S For Sale - who knows the story?

By now, most of us know all about the "other yellow ebay car" from this same stable. Maybe I missed it, but the orange 73S seems to be appropriate for many of the PP members. A great R ride or stocker, anyone know the deal on this car?

I seem to recall seeing the pics for this cars many months ago, and I believe the price isn't cheap. Then again, it looks like a clean car, so sometimes you get what you pay for. I'm sure sithot knows the story.

A/C probably adds 60-70 lbs. weight.

2.4S engine was rated by the factory at 190 DIN HP.

None of the cars on that page are cheap, but there are some nice ones.

What would you like to know? I drove it 3 weeks ago.
It's Tangerine (or sometimes referred to as Blood Orange).
It is a 2.4 S MFI car (190 DIN as mentioned). Runs well. About 80k+ on the odometer and is a rust free southwestern car. Has A/C with original type piston compressor. Seats and interior are vinyl with corduroy inserts. Has a sport muffler. Original paint on most of the car.
It' north of $30k and there are buyers sniffing around it all the time. It might sit 2 days or another 2 months. Who knows in the fickle world of classic cars?
Personally, it would be my choice for a nice original "S". I'm fond of the Tangerine color. I would not bastardize it since it is a nice original car. Some 7's would look nice and that's about it. Well, maybe some through the grill fogs.

As far as the "T" goes; it did not miss by much. I got to see it over the holiday(again) and it is a damn nice car. You have to see it in person to appreciate it. I understand it is not everyone's cup of tea.

I think there are a handful of us here who were able to appreciate that unique T via the internet and weren't surprised at all by the bids. -- Curt
