Ground issue?

Anyone have a pointer for my issue?
My signal indicators both dimly light when either left or right are selected but only in the gauge. The actual signals are fine. Seems like an issue with ground somewhere?

There's a very good explanation, with pictures, in the LED tail lights thread.
Did you change the flasher relay to one that has only three prongs instead of the stock 4? That's OK, just some re-wiring required.
