Smile Went for a Drive Today, Realized What a Machine These Cars are

So I went for a low speed drive today in the desert/country , 50 mph was the maximum posted speed and lots of 25 - 35 mph areas. Of course I did exceed the speed limit slightly a few times I turned the radio off and just listened to the whine of the engine, a lot of 2nd and third gear runs to 5500 rpm or so. I now truly know why people love these cars. Lightning fast from 30 - 60 and what a great sound, more like a finely tuned machine as opposed to just a car. I love this time of the year in AZ.

Just came back from an half hour errand in the Carrera on a perfect fall night

About halfway into the drive, the car seems to settle down into that intoxicating combination of sound and effortless agility. Shifts and the engine turn buttery smooth and the suspension soaks road imperfections with ease.

The art in a PCar comes from the motion, not the polish.....

There are many types of love and appreciation. Why not have it all?

If life was so black and white we would miss all the color in between.

Good looking car.
The temp is supposed get down into the 50's over the next few days but then back into low 70's and high 60's after that. I think my car runs better in the cooler weather and as long as the sun is shining I don't care what the temp is. I almost bought a Granite Green cab before buying this 88 Venetian Blue one, its a great color too. Are you driving your Porsche over?
