Getting the right finish for MFI lines
Been working on getting the right color and finish on MFI lines for weeks and think I finally have it. These are a little bit too bright as in pics, getting the light right proved impossible, and are more subdued in person and will even dull down slightly in a week and then stabilize making them under-restored/original. The color I think is the best part and shows a greyer steel look in some of the pics than the typical frosted white-blue-silver that I started with. Probably shouldn't have used the blue background.
These are going on a true 73 RS. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450460535.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450460892.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450460566.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450460579.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450460594.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450460608.jpg What I started with. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450460944.jpg A few pics along the way. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450461223.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450461259.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1450461306.jpg |
