A seat question

My 911 has one power seat and one manual ( just like my 951) and I have an opportunity to buy a newly recovered seat but they are both 12 way powered seats. I will be getting the harness for the other side as well but is there any traps here? anything I should know about etc?

I have done a search but really can't find much. For FYI this is what the controls look like.

I believe (but I'm no expert) that the power for the seats use the same harness whether you have one or two. My 86 911 has a power drivers seat, but not passenger. I just purchased some power sports seats for it and I'm fairly certain that I saw a plug already wired for the passenger side just waiting for something to be plugged into it.

I was told that as well. I just had that seat out too but didn't notice or look for that matter. Thank you for the reply.

Also, note that the passenger manual seat has risers on each rail; the power seats do not use them. Therefore, you will need to remove the risers when you mount the power seats. Good luck.
Lyle.

Thank you, when I mounted the Rennline FE and removed that seat I thought maybe the Original Owner had a very short wife
