Are these early Recaro sport seats...?

Hi,

I have the opportunity to buy these seats, but do have slight questions if this is the real deal.....
Recaro sport seats are also mounted in bmw 2002 (Ford capri?)
Reading the forums and looking pictures most of the sport seats look fatter/bigger.

They are nowadays to expensive to buy the wrong ones.

So any advice of Recaro guru's would be highly appreciated ;-)

The seat bottoms and backs, maybe. Everything below the bottoms, no. Don't recognize the sliders or their mountings. My 70 has factory early recaro sports with of course the proper sliders and tilt bases. Nothing like in your pics.
If you are buying for a Porsche you will need proper sliders and bases. Deal breaker.

Knobs, seat back tilt adjusting mechanism, webbing on bottom look good. They have been recovered and modified with tabs welded onto the base frames of the seat to adapt to the sliders which are not correct for the sports seats. As Gary mentioned, the bases for these had a tilt mechanism which is difficult to find.
