Accidental repair of headlights
When I bought my car the headlights worked fine, but I couldn't flash people. I could always turn on hi beams, but pulling back on switch would not flash people.
Anyway, wasting time in garage today, I decided to install the JWest relay kit. After I installed it, the flash mechanism started working again. Gotta love that! Now to figure out what was really wrong with the hi beams.... Jason |

Hi Jason,
I bet you had corrosion or pitting in the contacts of the headlight switch. Now that you have relays, that switch only has to handle very low current, and is able to function properly. I had the same thing in my car. I first replaced my switch, but I wanted to make it more reliable, so I added the relay kit. Happy New Year, Dave
