As specialized as the 915 is now and with the cost of shipping relatively minor, consider shipping to one of the known entities? Maybe you have an Indy there that is very familiar. have you searched for threads looking for good Indys in your area?

I mean ship trans not car. Assuming you can R&R trans your self.

I recommend Jones. They've done three for me.

You know that your 901/911/915 will never shift like a Toyota, right?

How do you know it needs rebuilding?

You know to say 'one one thousand' as you shift gears, right?

Ship it to someone that specializes in 915's. I had mine rebuilt in St. Louis by a supposedly reputable guy. They missed a lot of stuff that was worn and left the shim out that sets the depth of the pinion. And they charged almost $2000. Second time I tore it down and shipped it to an expert.

In TX Home they did my 915.
