Folding the boot cover is one of the great mysteries of cabriolet ownership :-)

I had it laid out on the floor, and trying to fold it to fit into a 12x12 vinyl storage bag was as hard as a rubik's cube. But I finally got it!

Here I am pelting everyone with questions about a car I don't even own (yet?) However, subject to the PPI and some realistic price concessions by the dealer, I will be the next owner. I haven't owned a Porsche since 1975, a '71 911T which I owned for about 2 years, and it's quite reassuring to be able to access the knowledge here. No such thing as the internet existed back then and when a problem or question arose, it was either Haynes for the easy stuff or off the dealer.

My thanks to all who pitched in.

Perhaps an instructional vid?

Wait a minute, questions? That's all? You haven't purchased any parts for a vehicle that you don't yet own? Rookie! ;)

According to a somewhat nearby Porsche dealership, boots came with cabriolets but tonneau covers were an option (code 070). GAAH has a maroon top for $800 + shipping compared to a black Sonnderkind (sp?) for around $400-$500 available from a couple places.

Here's a pic of the car with the black top in the up position:

That looks damn nice as-is. Personally, I wouldn't be too concerned about the top color. Black top matches the black rubber trim, wheel centers, etc.

That's exactly what my wife said!
