Gauge resto cost?

On my long list of "maybe I'll......" is gauge restoration for my 68 912. The clock doesn't work and the oil temp is done as well, but I have an aftermarket on the knee pad. Fuel, speedo (in kph) and tach are operational.
I did a search and see lots of nice work from Palo Alto and North Hollywood but no one mentions what it cost. I'd like to know if it's worth doing, or if I should just buy working used replacements for the oil temp and clock.....and guess at mph

Here you go...

Quote:
We would have to receive your 1967 Porsche 912 gauges to provide a firm estimate to restore and convert the instruments. Depending on their condition and what all needs to be done the price could vary considerably. An update
of the temperature gauge is offered by us as well as a clock quartz movement conversion.
The average restoration runs between $ 1000.00 - $1500.00 plus shipping. After having checked out the gauges we would provide a firm quote before proceeding with any service. 1 year warranty. App. 4-5 months turnaround time due to our work load.
