Steve,
Cathy and I managed to get a baby sitter for the day. We're going to go to the "add-on" day at Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta. Will probably stay a few hours than finish the day with a drive north. I guess tickets for Sunday are only $10 at the gate. Happy to have any and all join along. Best, ------------------ Mike 94 C2 cab |

Hi Steve, Saw your post for the drive on October 7, 2001. A few of us P911-car owners were thinking about joining you for the jaunt throught the mountains. Would you mind if we tag along? Sounds like it would be fun. A group of us here in the Atlanta area communicate through the pelicanparts.com 911 bbs. We also belong to the Peachstate Region Club. If you could let me know, I will post a message on the bbs to see who all will be going. Thanks Steve Kowak Steve, We would love to have you guys Join us-- I am a member of Peachstate as well... I do most of our posting on the PPBB (Porsche Pete's Boxster Board www.986board.com) and some on rennlist any way ...Please JOIN US -- We will have a good turnout -- also for the race Saturday we will have a big group sitting at turn 5. For the drive we will be meeting at 8 tooies and the first group of cars will pull out at about 830 -- we break into smaller groups of 5 -7 cars to make it easier to deal with traffic -- but we all be meeting at the stops together to let the breaks cool and relax! Feel free to call me with any questions and I Just registered on the pelecanparts.board. Please post and join us for the drive or any of our other events (we have DE's and are setting up AutoX's for next year already on the books) Hope to see you Sunday! SMH Stephen M. Steve,
Although I'd like to go, something else has come up so I won't make it. ![]() I will plan on making it to the Monday Peachstate meeting at Kurt's though! ------------------ MBA83Targa |

Just talked with Steve Huff Atlanta Boxter Club. We will meet at the end of 400 at Toolies (I think that's the way you spell it.) There will be a 15 minuet talk about the route we will be taking and then the cars will pair off in groups of six or eight. We will stop at three locations on the way about 20 to 40 minuets apart. We will end up at Brass Town Ball mountain and have lunche there. Will be catered @ $14.00 per person.
Sounds like it will be a nice trip. If you have any questions, give me a call at 770-381-7663. Steve |

Man! This was a fun outing. You guys really missed it. Thanks to Steve Huss and the rest of the Boxter Club... they were a group of very nice people.
Stormcrow... were you there?? I thought I was the only Pelican attending! We met at the top of 400 and had some very spirited drives through the mountains. It was a blast. In my group (led by Steve Huss in his Boxster) was my 87 Cab, an 84 Carrera, an 87 928 S4, and two more Boxsters. Whenever we did not get stuck behind a local farmer we were carving those North Georgia mountain roads. Finished by having a catered lunch at a Vineyard overlooking N. Georgia- next time you guys need to go. I will be posting some photos later.... Regards, Sean. ------------------ 87 Carrera Cabriolet |
