944 sport seats in a mid year?

Hi, I have a 76 911S that I was hoping to find some sport seats for. It appears the market for these have outgrown my budget though. Next closest thing seams to be 80-84 manual sport seats.
- are the 80-84 sport seats for 911 and 944 the same?
- will the 944 seats bolt right into my 911?

Finally does anybody have any they're looking to sell?

^ This. I don't even want to total up what I'm into my refreshed interior so far. But also yes, the 944 sport seats should fit, and are very nice seats.

Just out of curiosity- what are a set of sport seats going for in ok condition for a mid year 911?

If you're looking for the 80-84 style sport seats, they should have come in (so equipped) '82-'85.1 944s. They also were available in the 924S ('86-'88), and the 924 2.0 ('76-'85, maybe changed in 1980 like others?) and the 924 Turbo (931).

I imagine they bolt in, although cannot say for sure. They look the same though.

As far as I know the similar year 944 sport seats are internally identical, making them feel and look identical.
