911 R with Manual Transmission to Debut in Geneva
ACCORDING TO RENNLIST:
The 991 GT3 and GT3 RS and amazing cars. But, we can all agree that a lack of a manual transmission is a turnoff to many enthusiasts. We’ve long heard rumors that a 911 GT would be coming to save us from the PDK world of performance, but now we have reason to believe that that car will be called the 911 R instead. Plus, we expect to see it debut in Geneva. The 911 R will feature either the 3.8L flat-six of the 4.0L from the RS. The car will have a manual transmission as an option. The car, according to the folks at motoring.com.au, will feature fewer aerodynamic bits in exchange for a smoother profile look.
