it is a fast one....seen it featured in excellence magazine a few months back. The one I posted was at a local PCA event here in Germany, there are more photos of it on the PCA-GR website.

http://platz.com/pca/germany/gallery/member/potluck-2002-les-jenn/page.html

Also on the page are many vintage, to a nice silver GT2...pretty nice event. I can't wait until spring so I can attend a few events here myself.

you are right on...but it's up to the early 90's now.

3 series for $2-3k and a 5 series for $3-4k.

Pretty nice for the price.

Nah, far too much money for a waterpump. A good waterpump can be had at Home Depot for $20-30.

Plus they (HD) have an excellent return policy...which I've abused once or twice Hell with the $15K I've dropped there over the past 3 years I'm not exactly racked with guilt.

Man, to tell you the truth nothing after the 993 even gets my attention these days. Yawn. What a boring looking car...is that a Boxter or a Carrera...cause I can't tell.

I am going on the PERFORMANCE standpoint alone. I agree on the looks 110% with ya... that little ugly car will SPANK the shyte out of my car.. so based on that fact..i'd like to drive one of RUF's little rocket ships...

Sadly, the thing that caught my attention in that picture was the paverstone side walk. All I could think was "Boy, that sure would look good as a replacement for my concrete driveway". Honest.

You can get the same look as those paver with colored concrete...there are methods around wherte you can use molds to imprint a concrete surface with different patterns, cobbles, brick, stone, etc. Pair that with some colored concrete and you can get some stunning effects...

like most things that look good.. its costs a bit, and you get what you pay for....

The E28 5 Series (from 1983-1988) rocks!

Here's a pic of my 86 535i, in the family since new. Closest thing to a 4 door 911 out there, in spirit and driving fun.

Yes, specially if the dampers are toast.

No seriously, nice car--I've always liked those--classic BMW styling. Don't get me started on Bangle's new machines--he apparently can't even design a wet fart properly.
