87 Carrera with 915
So I have a 1987 3.2 Carrera engine and a 1978 915 transmission for my VW van project. What flywheel, clutch and starter will I need? I think my engine came with a G50 so guessing I need to change.

Flywheel and clutch setup for a 1985 car for ease of ordering parts. This will give you Motronic compatible flywheel and a 915 compatible clutch assembly.

I believe the bell housing of the 915 will need to be modified, to allow the use of the sensors that the 3.2 moronic uses.

You mean a 1985 flywheel and clutch will let me use a flywheel position sensor instead of a pulley trigger sensor?

I have the crank trigger all sorted so wont be using one on the flywheel, so what flywheel and clutch would suit if I don't need a crank position sensor?

Any 915 clutch kit and a 84-86 3.2 flywheel. An SC flywheel would work also.

Great, this van is not going to be a race van so what is a good, decent priced clutch? Sachs seem to be very common?
