'82 911SC pull rod for interior door latch handle?

I've got an '82 911SC with RS door panels and the leather door pulls. I would like to restore the doors to the original interior with the door pockets and conventional interior latches.
The RS lanyard door pull bolts directly to a lever inside the door to activate the door latch. I "assume" the original interior handle had some sort of ? pull rod? to connect the interior handle to the lever inside the door? I did some searches and keep coming up with an adjustable pull rod that fits '84 through '89 but found nothing for an '82.
Does the '82 indeed use a pull rod and if so, what is the part number and (hopefully) source for them? Or, any Pelicans out there who have a couple of these (left and right - don't know if they're the same?) they took off converting to RS door panels?
Thanks,
John

I have a couple of the rods and I think I also have the levers. Will need to dig a little though.

Both are in great condition. I wil post pics once i gather everything up. I got them free so happy to pass them on for th cost of shipping.

Outstanding.

I see in the PET the original numbers are

911 531 509 00 (L)
911 531 510 00 (R)

They are called Bowden Cables, assuming I have the correct part identified. NLA but superceded with part numbers PP offers.

I don't think those are the parts I'm talking about. Those cables appear to be running between the lever inside the door and the central latching mechanism. What I need is the ? rod? or connector between the lever (at the forward end of the Bowden cable) and the interior door pull located in the arm rest.
But, I agree with "Outstanding!" Is this forum great or what?
