Under hood sticker question...
I searched the forums, Charlie's Option Decoder webiste and google but couldn't find any help. What do the letters after the model number on my under hood sticker mean/designate?
I have a 1987 targa-under hood sticker has model number listed as 911 UN or VN Thanks in advance |

I have only seen 6 digit model #'s: 911 xx0
Beneath that is the paint code & interior code. The interior code is usually two digits. Email me, or post a photo so that I can see what you have.

Will do. I'll have to get a picture first as I just wrote down the numbers last time I drove the car. Besides under the hood and the warranty book, any other place for the stickers to exist?

My bad. The UN or VN is the tranny code. My model number is 911 440. I'd upload a photo but my iPhone doesn't seem to have the correct extension on the picture I took.
Thanks again. I really enjoy learning more about my targa from all the Pelicans. Great group. |
