Anyone else getting BBS error messages?

Anyone else getting BBS error messages? I just upgraded to the latest version of software here, and at least one person said that they were getting division by zero error messages at the top of some threads. This appears to be caused by the new software not properly passing the 'threads to view per page' variable to the view page, sometimes.

Please post detailed descriptions of this problem if you have found it. I have a running topic on the vBulletin troubleshooting board right now:

Thanks,

Wayne

Yup, I'm getting the errors when trying to view the Carolina Drive thread.

No problems here ...

Yep. Getting errors when clicking on the page number to open a thread. Clicking on the title opens threads fine, though.

ditto.

Same thing, if I click on the page # of a multipage thread I get the error.
If I go to the main thread and then the 2nd or 3rd page it's ok.

Same here. As you noted, the perpage param is null.

I have gotten the div/0 message on a few multipage threads.

In addition when I view a page with attached images, the images take an excrutiatingly long time to open. This doesnt happen on other web sites.

BTW, I have a cable modem and have check my connections performance a few times since I noticed the problems with the images, and everything is aok on this end.

Wayne 962 12-06-2002 01:14 PM

I don't think that there are any problems with the attached images. I just did a check of the site (I'm at home on my DSL network which is different than the network we use at the shop).

No problems...

I fixed the division by zero error - that's what happens when you try to upgrade at 4AM!

I didn't have any of the above mentioned problems. But there was just a reply to a thread I subscribed to and I did not get an email notification of it. I'll live though.

Wayne 962 12-06-2002 01:45 PM

Anyone else not getting subscribes?

Not getting subscribes.

Getting the divide by zero error message if I open on the second or third page of a thread. Have to open on page one and work my way back.

Wayne 962 12-06-2002 02:07 PM

I fixed the divide by zero error - is it still ocurring? I'm getting the subscribes...
