Spark placement has been verified using a 'skeleton' distributor cap. Phasing is not an issue due to the rotor arm width and adjustable offset in our software. The spark gets closer to the centre of the post with rising RPM, rather than farther away.

Many hundreds of hours have been put into the design and of course the manual. The locking collet design is both simple and effective.

The effort that has been put in is of course reflected in the price. I would like to think that it is money well spent when it comes to ease of installation. The reward is turning the key and it just works.

By the way, does anyone know how much it costs to rebuild and recurve a distributor?

I found the same thing with rotor phasing you can see my test, I used a dizzy cap with a hole drilled in it. The video is in this thread and it verifies your findings that the spark gets closer to the center as RPMs rise;

It seems the going price for a dizzy rebuild here is $500 and up.

I removed my vacuum pod as well as I am using carburators and not CIS.
