Help with trailing arm thread

Might have made a stupid, fatal error late last night on my 1980 911SC.

I was reconnecting the rear driver-side shock to the trailing arm last night with an impact wrench, and I'm pretty sure I shredded the threads inside the trailing arm (and the threads on the bolt as well).

Is there anything I can do short of replacing the entire trailing arm?

Images of the trailing arm threads and the bolt below:

Have never heard of Time-sert. Just googled and looking on the site now. Any experience with them?

Helicoil Kit is cheaper and uses the same tap as a Timesert and for this application is probably OK.

Either will be fine. Hopefully you have not destroyed too much interior to allow decent tap for above. Not fatal, and the insert will be stronger.
Lesson learned - hand tight EVERYTHING at least a few threads before taking a tool to it.
