964 Speedo/911SC Connection "A"
My '82 911SC has a 964 dash and speedo. My cruise control module pin 11 has a black/brown wire that should go to "connection A" on a 911SC speedo. The 964 speedo does not have separate, labeled terminals but rather a wiring harness with a plug.
Presently, the cruise module pin 11 black/brown wire is connected to a red/white wire on the 964 speedo - is that the equivalent of the 911SC's "connection A" ... and is that compatible with the 911SC's cruise computer module? Thanks, John Last edited by jaustinmd; 01-31-2016 at 01:42 PM.. |

Guess you guys have spoiled me ... I usually get some useful information within hours at most! Anybody have an idea about the 911SC's cruise control module (928.617.127.00) compatibility with a 964 speedometer? Seems like this would have come up often as lots of people have retrofitted later model's speedometers to replace the 85 mph 911SC speedometer!
Any information would be appreciated! John |

Kris Rose (JamesDean59@gmail.com) who does cruise control module repairs, told me that he uses the exact same configuration of signal to test 911SC cruise control modules and 964 modules. Therefore, the 964's speedo signal must be the same as the 911SC's speedo and the 964 speedo should be compatible.
