How to run wiring from engine compartment into cab?

I'm installing a AEM wideband 02 in my 83 Cab. I have the sensor mounted and the wiring run into the left side of the engine compartment. Is there an easy way to get the wiring into the cab without drilling?

Should be a hole already there, look under the carpet in front of the rear seat. Should be a hole with a rubber grommet for the engine harness.

Your car is earlier so it might be different, but there should be a couple different ways in. I used a hole at the front left of the engine compartment where the harness goes into the cabin.

Follow the defrost wires on the rear window, that was the hole I used for my Third brake light install

I don't have defrost wires, it's a Cab.

I don't believe the earlier cars have this access hole. I was looking in that exact location for a while and couldn't figure out how to get it through. With it being cab there's probably a difference in the firewall/rear seat area. I'm guessing a coupe would be easier to get into the passenger compartment.

Joe Bob has an 83 cab, same hole.

Plenty of holes through the transmission tunnel. Reroute the sensor down low and go in through the ~12 holes with grommets there.

I ran my sensor wire ('83 SC Coupe) thru the central tunnel by attaching a stiff wire (bailing wire) to the end then running the wire thru the opening near the tranny coupling where the electric wire for the tach runs.
You can fish it out/assist it thru the many access points in the tunnel.
I had it come out near the front floorboard then drilled an opening large enough for the plastic connectors on the bottom side of the dash under the clock (where I mounted the guage)...I had just enough unit wire for that to work and it was tight but have had no issues for a few years now.
I think, for a CIS car, an afr gauge is a requirement...huge tuning tool.

Ahh so don't bother going through the engine compartment then.. Looks like the way your describing will be easier..

I will probably end up doing a version of this..

Thank you to everyone who helped. I ran it through where the shifter coupling is and all went well. I don't know why I had it in my head that I was going to take it through the engine compartment. I hope this helps someone else in the future.

i would use a bulkhead connector cannon plug

and a male plug on the cabin side

fluid and flame tight plug

My car, there is a bundle of wires run from front along the left side step through the chassis behind (on the left) the seat, then go up to engine bay from there (behind the rear torsion tube).
