G50 transmission Cover housing (nose)

Hello,

i need help figuring out the difference between the following transmission covers

part # 95030190110 / Year fitment (89-90) G50.03/04

part # 96430130101 / year fitment (91-94) G50.03/04/05

The transmission i bought is G50 03 1 L02534
which is a 1990 C2 transmission. the correct transmission for my car.

i am having a problem finding the correct part which is 95030190110 cover.

I found locally the 96430130101 and was wondering if it would bolt on to my current transmission and fit in my 1990 C2 without any problems.

If anyone has 95030190110 part available for sale let me know.

Thanks

Moe

You learn something new everyday. I was not aware of the nose being different on these. My understanding is what sets the 03 and the 05 apart is the use of a different ring and pinion. The 03 used a 9:31/3.444 vs the 05 which used a 9:30/3.333 the 05 makes the gears add a few Mph per gear but slows the acceleration the 03 having a 164mph top speed the 05 a 169.

I would be curious to know what the differences are other than price.
