Alternator / starter / EFI wiring help

converting my 79sc 3.0 to EFI and looking for some verification with wiring.

I just received my new Alternator which is INTERNALLY regulated.

Stock Alternator has
1. Large red / small red wire
2. black wire
3. blue wire
4. 3 brown wires
5. 1 brown wire to engine case

Since this is internally regulated, I am assuming I just leave the Black , Blue, and one brown wire out of harness.

There is only two studs on new Alternator.

I am assuming 3- gets brown wire to engine case and 3+ gets red wires

The starter has three wires

1. Thick yellow
2. thin yellow
3. large red

I believe the thin yellow with blue strip goes to cold start injector?

Thick yellow is to fuel pump relay

can someone please confirm

Only the black wire DF is not used.
Thin yellow can be deleted.

DF? Sorry English please. I am not good with electronic stuff.

I followed the wires from alternator and the black, blue, and brown wire all run into the voltage regulator.

DF is the designation on the prints for the feed to the voltage regulator.

You can delete a lot of wiring in the '79 engine harness depending on what EFI system you are installing. Give more details and I can give you guidance as I've built a lot of custom engine harnesses for people.

I see 3 studs on your alternator. One for reds, one for Blue and one for ground.
PM me your phone number and a time to call and I can talk you through the alternator and the wiring for your engine harness.
(I'm on the west coast for time considerations)
