Another P-car back on the road!

This morning I woke up smiling, then I saw the rain. But I've been without my car for long enough. I had to drive my car to work today no matter what. There is so much truth to the old addage- you don't realize what you have until it's gone.
So here's my car.

Your car looks beautiful. Why weren't you able to drive it?

As a few of my other posts described, fuel problems (so I thought, got great response from the BB/ just the DME relay) and the dreaded 915 trans. problems. Lost first gear- posted pictures of the broken pieces on -915 tranny revisited.

By the way did I say how much I missed driving this thing?

Back on the road

johnnyo200,

It is great to have the machine back on the road isn't it? Your car looks great! I have been driving mine this winter more than most Porsche folks do, just because once you get a taste of the wonderful driving characteristics of a 911, its hard not to drive it. Mine was in the air for nine months as I did the mechanical restoration.

Good luck,

Troy

Since I'm somewhat new to the Board I didn't see your prior posts. So, congrats on being back on the road...go burn some gas.
