930S wheel Part 7
 

Got my new steering wheel, pulled off the old and re read all the prior posts.

Easy as pie. I can see my tach and speedo, the smaller size feels more comfortable. I did not order the spacer, just the adapter.

The old SC wheel was in need of serious thread repair, 20 years old, but only 68K on the body.....the leather was starting to shift and come off doing serious canyon carving....

Decided against the crest install. Dumb idea....like Porsche, PP should offer a crest delete option when selling this wheel. Since there is no indent for the crest, it looks like an afterthought add on for someone who is not sure what kind of car he drives. I hope it is priced seperately....maybe I can get a credit for it.
