Thumbs up A visit to see a 3.6 transplant!

All I can say is WOW!

Today I made a 45 min drive down the autobahn to take a look at a 1993 964 project car. This car was purchased 3 years ago in Germany in real bad shape...it was in an accident and completely smashed front and rear! I was able to look at a scrap book full of photos and how this car came to be the extreme machine it is today.

My main goal was to see the newly added 993 motor since it was installed by the person I am going to have do my car in a month or two. I wish I had pictures to post, cause I am just at a loss for words to describe the car, and the rumble of the 993 and the sound from the two large diameter exhaust tips...it's just freaking amazing and the quality of the work is best stated as perfection!!!

The car originally was a 964 narrow body, and now has large turbo flares front and rear with nice wide tires and as a total package this car is awesome.

Thank you Harald (Speedster94) for introducing me to Rolf and his outstanding car...also I hope that Rolf visits the Pelican BBS and decides to become active and post pictures of his car for all of you to enjoy. Thanks Rolf.

It was the silver wide body! Harald did send me pictures of the yellow 73, sweet! And his speedster as well...very nice with it's custom 356 style deck lid! I would post the pics of Harald's cars here, but I would rather leave that up to him.

Neat lookin' car H.D.

Hey, your in Germany... is there any chance you could pick me up about a half dozen European distributor rotors for a SC???

...........Pretty please????

You guys are our only source for euro rotors for us guys who have rev limiter switches that've gone bad.

I'll make you an honorary member of "the plot".
