Help Identifying Black Connector?

I noticed something that isn't attached anymore on my Carrera 3.2 engine after some recent work done on it to repair head studs. The attached picture has a yellow circle around the connector I'm referring to, which is mounted under the idle air valve. It has a wire that goes back and disappears behind the intake manifold.

I'm guessing if I knew what it was or where the other end of that wire was, I'd be able to find it and put it back in place. Anyone able to point me right?

I thought that was a test port for diagnostics. Am I mistaken?

Useless test port to reference TDC of the top of the flywheel

Very impressive! How did you know that?

If you had diagnosed, trouble shot and built as many motors as Bruce, you would have known that also. SmileWavy

Just say'n...

So it's useless, but that doesn't help me find it. ;-)

Does anyone know where the other end of it is? Maybe a sensor at the top of the flywheel I guess?

Remove the air cleaner and airflow sensor, look down to the sheet metal and there is a locator in the sheet metal. A single 5 mm Allen will pull the sensor. There is a tie wrap holding the through wire to the harness under the injection.
