FS: Rear Seat Delete....new high quality reproduction
^^^^^ Please be advised that most Porsche RSD's are M/Y dependent, and hard to find. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1456684681.jpg ^^^^^ Here's our '86 W/Porsche RSD. |
Emails out to both Eric Linden and Dave B. Will see on the results soon, I hope. Been wanting to do this for some time, other priorities got in the way.
|
My buddy Trace Taft supplies Eric Linden with those. Bare wood, you finish. Got one for my '72.
|
How much did he charge you if I may ask?
|
Got a response back from Eric Linden, he is no longer making them......TRE may have something, they responded and I will have pics and prices on Monday.
|
Bought one last year at the LA Swap Meet. (next weekend)
Needed a lot of finish work on the doors but worth the effort. |
$$$?

Joe Bob,
I believe i chewed him down to a little less than $200.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1456702533.jpg |
Outstanding!

Joe Bob. I bought one from Eric Linden a few years ago. If John's friend still makes them, I'd get the info from him & check into it. They are really high quality. Here's a couple of pics of mine when I got it.

If anyone has one and can make a template of sides mostly or all I'll make some!! Looks simple enough I can have a few done at one time. 706-392-2580. Thx. Mark

I'd be a buyer....

I am having something like this built for my restomodded '76 911. If all goes well, we are planning of recreating them in firbreglass for your own trimming, or so you can choose from a serious of options.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1446743932.jpg The idea would be that you remove your rear seats and belts, and plug-in and play this option with minimal fuss. Mine will be ready soon, so will be keeping you posted. |
:)
I got plans from a fellow Pelican about 8-10 yrs ago. Had a fellow in our shop who was good w/ wood make one that came out really nice. He threw out the plans after he was done. :( IDIOT !! :( Now I need to build another. Does anyone out there have plans I could have or buy? Len :) |
