Heater fan test!

I ran a test to see if the engine fan comes on when the car gets really hot. OK, I'll be honest, I started my car in the garage to get it hot to check the true oil level and I forgot about it! ....For a long time....But!!! The heater fan does come on!!! Temp only went up to third line on gauge. Oil level was good. That is two dumb things I have done to my car in the last 5 years. The first was I dropped an item down my oil tube. Took me an hour but I fished it out from the bottom of the tank. Test complete.
