Period Specific Radio for my ROW 2.7

My 1977 ROW has an after market Alpine which has now seen better days. I would like to go back to the original (which may sound stupid but I only listen to NPR anyway). If I can find the right radio then the only thing I need to have it 100% OEM is the seats. They are aftermarket because a horse ate the passenger side and the other owner threw them away

So - where do I find a 1977 ROW radio and seats?

Don't know if my sayno radio cassette that I pulled out of my 77 911S is original or not but if you are interested I still have it.

Someone posted here a listing of radios installed (probably for USA) in Porsches by year. But you'd be close with a Blaupunkt Frankfurt. Check eBay.

Zedsn, if it is factory installed then yes! Thanks.

Grizzfan, any idea about that post? I shall search. Thanks.

Do a search for turbosition autoradios in Google
You need a blaupunkt koln bamberg or Coburg
I would go for the koln

Mike,
My MY 77 Targa came with Blaupunkt Bamberg, including microphone. Don't have it any longer. You may want to check with Scott Turnbull on this website. He usually has a Bamberg for sale. Someone had a beauty f.s. here a couple weeks ago. Big bucks and not too dependable from what I have read here.

This guy always has a bunch of good radios, some may be a little expensive:

Original radios for your classic car

Lots of radios were installed by the dealer in those days, as a 911 could be ordered with just the antenna and speakers but no radio.

A slightly newer option would be the CR; most people wouldn't know it was a few years younger than your car. Google "Porsche CR radio."

Thanks guys! Found a few on ebay. I never listen to it anyway - just want to get as close to original as possible...
