Bolt on fender flares....
Looks like I will be needing new track wheels for the '86 Carrera and thinking about using bolt on fender flares to increase tire/wheel width. Tell me why not or why (with pictures and who to purchase from).... I would just paint them black....
Thanks, Dan Here is the car currently after winter paint job, upgrade to 3.3 liter with supercharger and full MS3-pro megasquirt (and one cracked Kodiak wheel )

Wider is better! I really do enjoy the looks of your Carrera. A member posted his HERE. The process of what he did for the fender flares is in his build thread: dfink takes over for "kurt b"

It reminds me of Eddie Van Halen's Kramer guitar. Man, those were the good 'ol days...

It depends how wide you want to go. The Turbo or ST flares were too wide for me. So I made some myself

Car looks sweet. I wouldn't. More air drag, and rolling resistance..... may be slower.

+1 on Jerry Woods Enterrprises. They make some nice composite parts, depending on the flare shape and dimensions you want. They do not advertise these, but they are available and quite popular around here (SF Bay Area).
