Porsche - Fine Art of Sportscar - Borders

I went to Borders to buy an Excellence magazine, and instead bought this - it was sold as remainder for $20!

They only had one (I looked) but there might be more out there. The book is huge and has everything (as far as I know) except the 73 RS, which I thought was odd. Lots of history and racing Porsches. Did I say the book was huge? It's bigger than that. It's so big you can't read it in bed.

So if you're at Borders poke around on the sale counters. The edition I got is I think from 1997.

Last spring a co-worker was at (I think) a garage sale, saw this book, thought of me (I'd fixed her computer for her) bought it and gave it to me (she and her husband are more into NASCAR and street rods, but they're still nice people). I love this book, it's huge and the pictures are gorgeous. Oh, BTW, she paid a buck for it! I figure somewhere there's still some guy wondering what happened to that book full of beautiful Porsche pictures he used to have. BTW, another nice, similar book is "Porsche the Essence of Performance" (our son gave me that one). My wife even thinks they're nice enough to leave out on the coffee table, beats the hell out of any other "coffee table books" I've ever seen ;-)
