2015 Hill Country Rallye

SAVE THE DATE ALERT:
Start planning for the 15th annual TEXAS HILL COUNTRY RALLYE.
We will base the event this year out of beautiful Kerrville, Texas from Thursday, March 26 to Sunday, March 29, 2015.

Due to overwhelming interest, total registration will be capped at 100 vintage Porsches, ranging from 1949 to 1989 air cooled vintage Porsches — NO EXCEPTIONS.

Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. We will send out a pre alert of when registration opens so that everyone has an equal opportunity to reserve their place at the event!

Our planning team is once again busy at work developing an interesting weekend of fellowship, driving, and fun. Specific details will be posted to our web site shortly.(Hill Country Rallye)

As most of these projects go, my 5 month project has now surpassed 1 year. The good news is, I'm told the final touches should be done by the end of this week and it will be back in my garage. Fingers crossed!

Jamie, I live in Kerrville and would be happy to help. There are at least a couple of new venues that will be open in Kerrville for hosting dinners or other. One's in the restored Schriner building downtown that has a catering business along with the restaurant. I don't know if you've ever stopped at Jacques and Karen Vaucher's place near Harper. That always seems to be a highlight up here. The Hunt Store has a new owner and has been cooking up some great food. Couple of new event places in Comfort but you'd have to hook up with a caterer. Several other Porsche owners in our neighborhood that might want to help.

I am looking forward to this. I made it just barely with my 1989 Targa on the age requirement. I tied up a hotel room in Kerrville just in case when the save the date came out. Looking forward to this with our 22 year son.

I hit about 560 miles last year on my Targa. 2015 is the year to put more mileage. This looks like a great venue. Pray to the weather gods, spring is usually great.
