Mystery wiring under passenger side carpet, by shifter. Ideas?

I replaced the shifter on my '86 3.2 with a Jwest Rennshift. As part of this I removed the console and pulled the carpet up. In the passenger side footwell, along the center tunnel, there's an empty, two conductor plug on the end of a couple of light blue wires. The plug was just a bit ahead of the shifter.

I can post a pic if needed, but any ideas what this is? I don't see anything that it would go to and it looks like a factory style connector.

Thanks.

My guess is either parking brake indicator light, or more likely seat switch warning light and buzzer wiring.
